This food grade stainless steel cake stand was created to hold a four tier cake weighing 40kg, including 8kg of icing(!)

The two-tier cake stand was welded, cleaned and powder coated white to the specifications of the cake designer.

The top tier is bolted to five tubing supports for extra strength.

As the cake needed extra support, we also sourced reinforced dowels for the cake maker.

The wedding cake, which was 8 tiers in all, was a massive hit and Lewis & Raby are very pleased to have helped with the special day.

Lewis & Raby is a manufacturer of food mixing blades for commercial dough beaters used in the bakery and catering industry.

These blades are forged in food grade 316 stainless steel to comply with food standards. The bore positions and mixer blade helix are precision CNC machined.

The destoner is filled with water from the bottom creating a cyclone of water within the large cone. Stones, earth and other waste material fall to the bottom of the cone while the vegetable produce floats to the top. Vegetables are extracted via a chute at the top of the cone.

Our destoners can be manufactured in a variety of steel grades including stainless steel or mild steel and engineered to the highest international standards ensuring that each destoner has a high separation efficiency.

The destoner pictured has a capacity output of 30 tonnes per hour (tph), but each destoner we make is built individually to our customer’s specific requirements.

The unit is particularly suited for situations when conventional cooling by refrigeration alone is not sufficiently fast for high volumes of produce.

Our chamber is constructed in high quality 316 stainless steel and is capable of reducing the temperature of the produce from 80°C to 15°C in 15 minutes.

Food produce can be loaded and unloaded on trays or trolleys. Once the chamber is loaded and safely locked, the chilling process is fully automatic at the press of a button. The chamber door openings can be hinged or sliding.

The door and front end of the chamber can be located inside a High Care Area, whilst the external rear of the chamber can be positioned through a dividing wall in a non-food plant area.

Alternatively the complete chamber may be located in the High Care Area with the plant located remotely.

Either way, hygiene integrity is maintained by ensuring that the vacuum plant, refrigeration plant and control equipment are totally isolated from the product area.

Operator safety is ensured by a control voltage of 24 VDC. The standard system requires an electrical power supply of 3PN + E 400v 50 Hz 100 A/Phase.

Our standard unit is 2.2m (l) x 2.0m (h) x 1.2m (w) but we can tailor the size and design of each chamber to our customers’ specific requirements.

The brackets are used for structural support and are designed to hold very heavy loads safely.

We use gallows brackets to secure our pipework, and they have a range of commercial and industrial applications.

The bracket itself is welded together for strength and can also be welded or bolted into a wall or other surfaces.

The gallows bracket pictured is 600mm long by 600mm high by 75mm wide. The welded support beam is 690mm long and 6mm thick.

All our steel gallows brackets are fully welded in our factory to your specific requirements.

The gallows bracket can be galvanised and painted in any colour required by the customer.

The glass trolley frame is made from mild steel box section and is fully welded together for maximum strength and stability.

Our glass trolleys are fitted with heavy duty castors which both swivel and lock, meaning you have full control of the movement of the trolley.

We supply any strength castors you might need including break castors.

The five wooden panels can be fitted with fabric to cushion the glass on the frame.

The trolley also comes with anchor points so that straps can firmly secure the glass in place while the trolley is in motion.

This trolley is not only perfect for transporting glass, but can also be used for other items such as doors, sheet metal, dry wall, wood and flooring.
